Brand Overview Review : Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare

Long time no posts. Things have been hectic with uni but now I'm back for good!
After experimenting with tons of products, I decided to talk about a brand which has caught my eye.
You may have heard about Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser on youtube or on other beauty blogs.

I've tried several products from the skincare line. Let's have a quick overview on the brand:

  • All products contain naturally active ingredients and most of them contain no preservatives. That's why after some months they smell funny, because they expire faster than other cosmetics.
  • SPF products contain only mineral sunscreens.
  • No animal testing. All products are suitable for vegetarians. Only natural resources.
  • It's advised to remove cleansers and masks not by splashing water on the face but by patting a wet and hot face cloth (provided by Liz Earle). This way the product removes both dirt and dead cells.

"This plant-based cleanser has a two-phase action, phase one is the cleansing. Free from mineral oil, it has a rich and creamy texture and swiftly removes all traces of face and eye make-up, even stubborn mascara. Phase two is the polishing. Polish off the cream using the pure muslin cloth to gently dislodge dead skin cells and help reveal clean, soft and radiant skin."

This product indeed is worth the hype (and the pounds it costs). It's a cleanser for every skin, gentle enough but leaves the skin squeaky clean. Just a fab cleanser, especially used with the face cloth.

Fresh scented toner, doesn't dry the skin out. Love it. Just revitalises and moisturises the skin. Great alone or paired with the cleanser.

As for the brightening eye lotion, I was hesitant about buying it. Ideal for two cases: a) if your eyes are really puffy, just wet a cotton pad and place on the eyes for 10 minutes, the eyes will be super revitalised and fresh b) if you'd like to remove some light eye makeup

My favourite! This serum is the star of my skincare. I use it before the moisturiser every night. What's best thing every morning? Waking up with supple, baby like face. I can't describe how amazing this serum is. Contains argan, rosehip, hazelnut, lavender, neroli avocado and camomile oil blended with vitamin E. A nutritive treat for the skin. If I had to buy one and only thing from the entire range that would be the concentrated serum.

What I love about this brand is that I've tried many products from them and I liked them all. Usually a brand makes one or two amazing products and the rest are of average quality or below. That's why I am so impressed.

All opinions are my own. All Liz Earle products are purchased by me.

Have you tried any products from Liz Earle? What's your experience with the brand?
